Dr. Marno Retief holds a PhD in Homiletics from North-West University. His doctoral research focused on developing a Pentecostal homiletical strategy for shaping disability-friendly congregations. Marno's main research interests are disability theology, biblical hermeneutics from a disability perspective, and ecumenical theology. He has been a lecturer in various theology subjects at Cornerstone Institute in Cape Town, South Africa, and Cape Town Biblical College in Parow, South Africa. Marno is currently a Research Fellow in the Department of Practical and Missional Theology at the University of the Free State. He is also the founder and president of Marno Retief Gospel Alliance NPC. Marno resides in Bellville, South Africa, along with his wife, Benita, and three children.
