While the Book of Leviticus is the central book of the Torah of Moses, it is perhaps the book least studied by modern Christ-followers. It is no wonder that the writings of the New Testament are so often misinterpreted since they are written with a Hebrew mindset but read with a Western mindset. Few people are excited by the prospect of reading this book.

The rules, prohibitions, details of the sacrifices and various commandments related to the operation of the Mishkan (Tabernacle) can appear tedious. The reason most people are bored by this book is because they do not understand how the ancient words of Leviticus are relevant to their lives today. Take this invigorating journey, and you will see how important the Book of Leviticus is for understanding the teaching of the Jewish Jesus and his apostles. Make an investment in your life that you will never regret.

I love the combination of the Hebrew and English. As I try to read along with the facilitator, I can here and see my mistakes. This helps me a lot! To-Dah!

I had just finished reading Leviticus and figured this would augment my learning, but there were some deviations that didn't do much for me. I also love Rabbi Sacks work, but perhaps too much emphasis on it was given here.
