The resurrection of Jesus is foundational to the Christian faith, but the concept of resurrection was a Jewish one before it came to shape Christianity. Yeshua was not the first person to be raised from the dead and, according to Jewish texts and traditions, he won’t be the last! Israel’s Scriptures are full of resurrection events, prophecy, and theology—and all of it highlights the Messiah’s resurrection as a thoroughly Jewish event. In this exciting course, you will walk through Judaic history to see how resurrection develops as an idea among the ancient Israelites, runs through the Second Temple period (including the New Testament), and carries on after Jesus with the later rabbis. Join us for these stimulating lectures that reveal the resurrection power of God, the original meaning of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and the hope of being raised at the end of days. Enroll to discover the real relevance of resurrection from a Jewish perspective!

As with all your courses you have great presenters and clear explanations of material covered. What is greatly appreciated is the Hebrew perspectives that give Bible Study instructors additional material to use in their classes making them more meaningful to their students.

But it would be superfluous for angels to assume bodies, since an angel does not need a body, given that his power exceeds every corporeal power. Therefore, angels do not assume bodies.

You brought up beliefs such as Homer, Iliad , Greek Mythology +. I wish more knowledge was presented in the material for the students to link to the main topic.
