Leviticus and The New Testament
COURSE PREVIEW
COURSE DESCRIPTION
While the Book of Leviticus is the central book of the Torah of Moses, it is perhaps the book least studied by modern Christ-followers. It is no wonder that the writings of the New Testament so often misinterpreted, since they are written with a Hebrew mindset, but read with a Western mindset. Few people are excited by the prospect of reading this book.
The rules, prohibitions, details of the sacrifices, and various commandments related to the operation of the Mishkan (Tabernacle) can appear tedious. The reason most people are bored by this book is because they do not understand how the ancient words of Leviticus are relevant to their lives today. Take this invigorating journey and you will see how important the Book of Leviticus is for understanding the teaching of the Jewish Jesus and his apostles. Make an investment in your life that you will never regret.
