COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Psalms are among the most beloved and enduring texts in the whole Bible. This course will enable you to sift through the ancient sands of the Hebrew Psalms of David, and to appreciate the dynamic and exciting truths that they reveal! Members of our learning community will develop an understanding of the historical background of these Hebrew prayers and songs, how they functioned in the life of the ancient Israelites, and how the psalmists’ messages provide you and I today with exciting theological insights unseen in most English translations.
