Course Info

In this course, Dr. Ralph Korner explores a specific approach of reading the timeline of the key visions in the Book of Revelation. His method is inspired by the structure of other Jewish writings. In short, the lecturer proposes a non-linear way of reading the cataclysmic events described in the book. He contends that if we choose to read John's visions through the repetitive structure of the shofar blast pattern a new realization will emerge. The popular linear chronology which many interpreters have been using to interpret Revelation for years will fade away and a new picture of the future will come to light. Come, put your thinking hat on, and let’s consider this novel approach in re-reading the last book of the Holy Bible.

It's good to hear another perspective of the Great Battles and of the beast, etc. There is a lot to take in, but if one is a reader of scripture, it all makes sense.
