Dr. Michael Satlow is Dorot Professor of Judaic Studies and Religious Studies at Brown University. Among many other works, he is the author of How the Bible Became Holy; the editor of Judaism and the Economy: A Sourcebook; and the founder of the remarkable online resource Ancient Inscriptions from Israel/Palestine.
