Julia Blum

Lecturer in Biblical Studies

Julia Blum holds an MA degree and has studied Philosophy, History, and Religion for many years.  Julia is an author of many books in Russian and more recently a handful of books in English. She often explores such questions as the meaning of election, theodicy, and divine sovereignty as it relates to Jewish people throughout history. Julia Blum is a talented public speaker and frequently appears at retreats and conferences. Julia studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Religious Studies), Tallinn Institute of Philosophy and History and Tartu University (Estonia). Julia lives in Jerusalem, as she writes and lectures on the Jewish background of the New Testament incorporating special insights from the Hebrew language and ancient Jewish literature.
