Dr. Eli Lizorkin-Eyzenberg, Dean and Professor of Ancient Cultures at Israel Bible Center and the Israeli Institute of Biblical Studies, is an expert Israeli scholar in Biblical Studies and early Christianity. Dr. Yeshaya Gruber is Professor of Jewish History and Culture at Israel Bible Center; his research addresses Jewish and Christian texts, traditions, and interactions throughout history. Prof. Pinchas Shir is Associate Professor of Ancient Cultures at Israel Bible Center; he is currently finalizing his dissertation on ancient dining culture with a particular focus on table interactions between Jews and Gentiles in antiquity.
