Dr. Gennady Gorelik is a research fellow at the Center for Philosophy and History of Science at Boston University. A physicist by education and a historian by occupation, he has published ten books and numerous articles on the history of science. His scholarly and popular works include in-depth biographies of the famous 20th-century Russian physicists Andrei Sakharov, Matvei Bronstein, and Lev Landau. He is currently researching the role of underlying philosophical beliefs in stimulating the Scientific Revolution in Europe. In this enlightening conversation with Dr. Yeshaya Gruber of the Israel Bible Center, Dr. Gorelik explains why it matters that the most brilliant physicists in history all had a theistic approach and how they related to questions of God and Biblical truth.
