Dr. Lois Tverberg is a former biology professor who switched fields to discover more about the first-century Jewish world. She is co-founder of the En-Gedi Resource Center, which provides educational materials to help Christians better understand the original context of the Bible and their Messiah. Her books include: Reading the Bible with Rabbi Jesus; Walking in the Dust of Rabbi Jesus; and (co-authored with Ann Spangler) Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus. In this lively conversation with Prof. Yeshaya Gruber of the Israel Bible Center, Dr. Tverberg describes the transformative potential of Jewish-Christian dialogue and explains many of the key insights that have inspired her new vision of Christian life and study.
