In this round-table talk, we will hear about personal life journey to discovery of the Jewish Apostle Paul by one of the foremost scholars of Pauline studies Dr. Mark Nanos. Author of numerous books and articles. He is considered today as one of the key people on the forefront of Paul research in his Jewish and Greco-Roman settings.

About Dr. Mark Nanos
Professor Mark Nanos earned his Ph.D. at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland in 2000. He served as a scholar and lecturer at the University of Kansas since 2005 and as a Soebbing Distinguished Scholar-in-Residence at the Rockhurst University in Kansas City. In the past, he also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City and a Visiting Professor at Westhill College at the University of Birmingham.
Dr. Nanos is a member of the National Selection Committee for Society of Biblical Literature Regional Scholar Award, Co-chair for the Paul Within Judaism Section (2015-) a member of Studiorum Novi Testamenti Societas (SNTS). He is a member of editorial board of the Journal for the Study of Paul and his Letters (JSPL), The Paul Page, Council for Jewish-Christian Relations of the Protestant Church in The Netherlands.
His main academic interest is (Re)interpretation of Paul’s letters. He currently resides in the USA.
