Médine Moussounga Keener is Pastoral Care Coordinator at Asbury Seminary in Kentucky. A former war refugee in her native Congo, she holds a Ph.D. from the University of Paris in African American women’s history.

Craig Keener is Distinguished New Testament Professor at Asbury Seminary. Together they have written books including Impossible Love: The True Story of an African Civil War, Miracles, and Hope Against all Odds and Reconciliation for Africa: Resources for Ethnic Reconciliation from the Bible and History.

Drs. Médine and Craig Keener work for ethnic reconciliation around the world. In this moving conversation with Dr. Yeshaya Gruber of the Israel Bible Center, the husband-and-wife team explain their unique experiences and perspectives on ethnic strife, racism, repentance, and reconciliation with special reference to a wide range of Biblical texts and history.
