Jared Seltzer

Assistant Professor of Biblical Hebrew

Jared Abram Seltzer earned his M.A. in Hebrew Bible and the History and Culture of the Ancient Near East at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His passions relate to languages and the intersection of Second Temple Israel with nascent Christianity. He has studied Biblical Hebrew, Aramaic, and Ugaritic and speaks Modern Hebrew and German fluently. Jared teaches Biblical Hebrew at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies and serves as a research assistant at the Israel Bible Center.
