Dr. John R. Levison

Dr. John (Jack) Levison (Southern Methodist University) is a well-known scholar of the Hebrew Bible, as well as a prolific author and blogger. His many books include The Holy Spirit Before Christianity; A Boundless God: The Spirit According to the Old Testament; and Portraits of Adam in Early Judaism: From Sirach to 2 Baruch. Dr. Levison addresses such fascinating questions as: What is the meaning of Hebrew ruach (spirit/wind/breath) in the context of the Bible? Who is the "agent" of the Lord?
