Dr. Joan Taylor is a Professor of Christian Origins and Second Temple Judaism at King’s College London. Her books include The Essenes, the Scrolls, and the Dead Sea; The Immerser: John the Baptist within Second Temple Judaism; Jewish Women Philosophers of First-Century Alexandria; and most recently What Did Jesus Look Like? In addition, she is a novelist and a commentator on current social issues. Join us as Dr. Yeshaya Gruber of the Israel Bible Center interviews Dr. Taylor about her many innovative ideas regarding the Essene communities, John, Jesus, Paul, and other aspects of Second Temple Judaism.
